Duties and Responsibilities: Hospitals depend on speech pathologist to assess and diagnose various speeches, hearing and even swallowing problem among adults and children. Some of these problems may stem from birth defects, such as cleft palate, while others are more emotional in nature, such as stuttering. Hospital speech pathologists also work with the elderly that have had strokes before.

Salary: $80,000

Education:  Must has a Masters in speech pathology practice
