Duties and Responsibilities: medical illustrators are very
talented artist. They draw design that are related to medicine and they are put
in textbooks, journals, magazines, and educational films their drawing a span a
wide range of organism to body parts. Medical illustrators’ drawings aid in the
research about creation of body parts. They usually create sculptures of body
parts, ears and noses.
Average Salary: $35,000 - $50,000
Educational Requirements: people that are interested in become a medical
illustrator need to take college preparatory class in high school of art and in
science. In college they should minor in art or science and major in art or
science. They should take science course before applying to medical school. They
should graduate with at least a master’s degree and be awarded a commission on accreditation
of allied health educational programs.
Reflection: No, I will like to become an
illustrator because I don’t like drawing I really hate it actually I like
numbers more.
